Copyrighed limited numbered edition of 100, edition number 15, done in 1985.

A detailed rendering of the right-hand drive race car, the driver coming into a left curve, the passenger preparing to lean into the turn, behind the car a whirl of dust.

Award winning British artist Chris Davis has been working with bronze for more than 30 years and for much of that time has specialised in automotive art with his beautiful creations being exhibited around the world -from Pebble Beach to the Silverstone race circuit.

We posted in the pictures a scan of a recent article about Chris Davis art published in the famous British classic car magazine Classic and Sports Cars in March 2021. And also included another article about its Bugatti Tank sculpture from the same magazine in 2018.

He specialises in the ancient, labour-intensive, "lost wax" foundary bronze casting process to produce heavyweight, high-quality solid bronze sculptures.

His unique, highly collectible, museum quality, limited edition pieces have already been purchased by many discerning collectors and motoring enthusiasts around the world and is commonly regarded as amongst the finest quality items of their type to be found.

Each piece is individually hand produced and numbered, with a production timescale of between two to four weeks.

In the style of famous sculptor Richard W. Lange where similar pieces went for auction in the past with $6,000-$7,000 estimates.

A Chris Davis Aston Martin DBR1 limited edition bronze sculpture sold for $5,920 in 2017 at a Bohams sale.
