Limited 1/10 scale hand made edition of approximately 20.
Dimensions: 18.25" length x 6.5" width (front wheels) x 3.75 height.
(46,5 cms x 16,5 cms x 9,5 cms).
The materials used are :
Body: Nickel silver (or German silver which is an alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel).
The rendering of the riveting and lines on the body are obtained by the acid engraving method. The different panels of the body are welded together)
Dashboard: hallmarked silver.
Seats: leather.
Wheels: nickel silver (hubcaps), tires: resin.
There are no details of the engine, nor suspension, it is in fact a very detailed study of the body lines and design.
The process starts with the blue prints, photographs, and drawings which the resin body and all the metallic parts necessary for the model are based on. Each piece is engraved with the acid method, then cut with scissors, metal shears, or compass saw. they are then hand shaped (by hand or using a hammer) to give them the definitive shape and prepare them for the soldering using the traditional method. The last process is the polishing and finishing details.
